First boat shows of the season

Entering the new season - how it goes so far

Cannes Yachting Festival took place first, so it`ll be first on our report. The good thing was the weather😂 It was warm and sunny, so the spirit was up, but the visitors flow could be better, though😅 At the stand, presented by our dearest distributor Grand Boats France, we had quite a few models out of which we would like to point out Golden Line G850 flagship and new Golden Line G680 cruiser that have drawn the most attention from the visitors - absolutely beautifully spec`d RIBs that found their new home during the show. Overall the show was successful and we couldn`t be more happy with the representation of our boat brand in France. Lots of new friends and partners, good time seeing and talking to our dealers and customers, a couple brand videos shot, some new ideas to consider for the future. So as usual - nothing to really talk about, no actual details or insights😂 Sorry can`t really help with that.

What we could say though is that you should definitely check out these beautiful G850 and G680 we had at the stand… Just go to G850 or G680 website pages and scroll down to the bottom where the videos are. If you look close enough, you will also see that the G850 has a rear suntop extension to its Hard-top, which was actually a little teaser and we will talk more about it in the next article coming up in a few weeks.

Another thing we can say is that one of our southern dealers is actually relaunching his business, so we are expecting some fresh and enthusiastic activity around Marseille, and possibly some new events connected with that.

Now let's talk a little about the Southampton International Boat Show. It was a huge success with fantastic weather, which you would not normally expect from England really. Nearly the whole range was displayed at the stand, but G750, G680 and, surprisingly, G380 were the most popular models. The new upholstery & flooring style and Hard-top designs proved to be a success and what people`ve been expecting from us for a long time now😅 We can also point out that there was a particularly interesting Silver Line S300 at the stand, rigged with an electric Mercury Avator engine. Generally speaking, the show did not disappoint so we and our Grand Boats UK distributors are very much looking forward to this new season - a lot of things to do and work on, but that's the whole point, right?

Something on another note though. Some Southampton Boat Show visitors might have noticed that our G750 boat had 300HP at the back… for those who don`t know - it should have been 250HP max instead... Those who saw it, should not get too excited straight away as this was actually a little improvised move we did because of the availability problems of 250HP engines😅 However, not to dampen your spirits, we will say that we might actually have some news to follow on G750 and its MAX horsepower in the nearest time, so stay tuned and you might get some awesome news soon.

Speaking about upcoming news… There are quite a few things, both little and big, we can't wait to share with you later this year, so no - we`re still here and are still doing something😅

This is basically it for now. Not too much to share, right😅 But once again - stay tuned and soon enough we`ll treat you with some new content.
