Another update on the G680, G750 nad G850 cruisers
Bow and rear suntop extensions of the Hard-top
So about this time last year we officially released hard-top options for G850 and G750… Golden Line G680 boat was released slightly prior to that and it was the first boat we introduced the hard-top option with. Worth also saying, or should we say - reminding, that at first these hard-top options were only available with plexiglass roof.
So why did it take so long to do these suntop extensions? Well, you see, first we had to go further with the hard-tops themselves. Plexi roof is sure good and all that, however, it doesn't quite deliver the same amount of UV protection due to being somewhat transparent. That is totally fine for colder climates, but warmer regions really need that non-transparent fiberglass roof. Plus, after all, we thought, having the option to put additional speakers and lights into that hard-top was a nice bonus😉
Ultimately, we first had to design, build and test fiberglass roof alternatives, and only once that all worked out, we could start doing the suntop extensions. So, according to “better late than never” moto we adopted😂 now we are ready to announce that G680, G750 and G850 bow and rear suntop extensions to the hard-top options are officially released.
Important thing to note here is that these suntop extensions to the hard-top are only available for boats that have hard-tops with fiberglass roof - plexi roofed ones unfortunately don't! Like we said, plexi roof is fine for colder climates, where it serves more as a protection from rain in places you may only dream of the sun to come out😂 But more importantly, due to the structure of the plexiglass material itself it's actually quite problematic to have the fixing points installed onto it.
Good thing though is that you can switch your roof to fiberglass, if you want. So if your boat already has a plexi roofed hard-top - you should be good to only change the roof then😉
This is all for now, stay tuned and follow our social media where we post all the fresh and new pictures the soonest. As usual you may find visualization pictures below and as per the real life photos - those will come in later.
